Jay D. Carpenter, D.O.

Texas Center for Urology

A passion for helping others led Dr. Carpenter down the path of medicine into a career that allows him to provide patients with high quality healthcare. Dr. Carpenter was born in Paris and graduated from Paris High School in 2002 and Baylor University in 2006.

He then spent two years conducting research at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston before starting medical school at University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

While a medical student, Dr. Carpenter was introduced to the field of urology and quickly found his calling to the field. He began his five year urologic surgical training at Rowan University in New Jersey in 2012 and served as chief urology resident his final year there.

Dr. Carpenter was in private practice in Paris, Texas for four years prior to joining the Texas Center for Urology. He and his wife Kacy, an OB-GYN, live in Aledo.
